About this club
Officially open in 2014, Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe is the FIRST club to operate in Canada! Paving the way to offer boaters and want to be boaters, a new and better alternative to getting on the water. Canadians can now enjoy boating made better!
LOCATION IN REFERENCE TO BODY OF WATER
Cooks Bay on Lake Simcoe, south of Barrie and only 45 minutes north of Toronto.
Gas Dock & Ship Store
On-site fuel dock, washroom facilities with shower, private beach area and pool. You can also stock up for the day with ice cream, cold drinks and treats for the kids before you head out. The ship store offers a wide selection of boat supplies and great looking clothing available to make your boating experience more safe and enjoyable.
Restaurant – Harbour House Grill
Treat yourself to a day off in the galley and enjoy this large family restaurant that boasts a fun and friendly atmosphere with a very broad menu. The patio is surely designed to bring you close to the water and is open weather permitting with live entertainment on occasion. Special events have become very popular, which helps to create a special occasion worth reserving for. At Harbour House Grill you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Parking and Security
There is ample parking for you and your guests on all of our paved roadways and parking areas.
WHAT IS THERE TO DO FROM THIS MARINA
Barrie is your perfect destination for recreational boating and fishing! Our location on Kempenfelt Bay, Lake Simcoe, is ideal. Barrie offers docking at the City of Barrie Marina, there are also many other marinas in the area including the new Friday Harbour Resorts Marina. Boaters can venture on-land to enjoy Barrie's vibrant downtown, which is full of restaurants, shopping, all within walking distance. The Port of Orillia is also a wonderful place to visit with waterside parks and restaurants. Lake Simcoe is known for its numerous sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
