Carefree Boat Club strives to provide our customers an affordable boating experience that is fun, easy, and safe through professional boat safety training, quality maintenance, excellent customer service, and unsurpassed industry knowledge.
In 2013, Carefree Boat Club of Chicago was established at 31st Street Harbor. In July 2018, the owners of the Wisconsin Club acquired the Chicago location. Our fleet continues to be upgraded both in and out of season, and we are beyond excited!

BOAT AVAILABILITY
Why join a boat club if you aren’t able to boat when you want? Since 2002, boat availability is among our top priorities at Carefree Boat Club. We’d be happy to show you our low member-to-boat ratio on our online reservation system. There are currently over 100+ locations across the country with additional international locations!
VARIETY OF BOATS AND SIZES
We offer bowriders, cabin cruisers, tritoons, pontoons, fishing boats and sailboats that range from 21-30 feet. You’ll have opportunities to take your son or daughter out fishing, your coworkers out on a tritoon, your family out tubing on a bowrider, or your significant other out on a sunset cruise on one of the premium cabin cruisers! Our members love having options and never get bored because they are able to use a variety of boats, rather than taking the same boat out every time.
NEW BOATS
Carefree Boat Club Chicagoland & Wisconsin works closely with boat manufacturers year-round to buy and sell boats. This allows our members to always enjoy the latest and greatest models, including hard-to-find special order boats loaded with options not normally found in boat clubs - bow thrusters, cabin heaters, windlass anchors, upgraded performance packages, high horse power engines, plush seating, and much more designed to provide more comfort and safety while allowing you to have more fun on the water! We're constantly upgrading our fleet with new boats throughout the year, so check out our fleet page often to see the latest additions.

The mission and drive of our valet dock staff is to delight our members at each of our 4 local locations - 31st Street Harbor (Chicago), Belmont Harbor (Chicago), Lake Geneva & Milwaukee.
