Carefree Boat Club was founded in Virginia in 2002. Our Clinton location opened in 2016. Since then Carefree Boat Club has become the premier boat club operator in the US and Canada and we are continuing to grow. It is definitely the best boat timeshare in Connecticut. Everything we do is based on operating at the highest standards in the industry. Our membership ratios are strictly maintained (8 members for every one boat), and we buy new boats year round! Our goal is to provide our members with the highest quality boating experience with a top class fleet fit for family fun, fishing, entertaining, water skiing, and all around water domination! We also aim to provide a safe and easy intro into boating for new boaters and to offer the best variety of boats and ports possible. Our ultimate goal is to make boating fun, easy and affordable.

Mystic is known for some of the bet fishing in the country. So many great places to go fishing Latimer reef, The Race, sugar reef, Fisher’s island and plenty of other locations to fish from. Our members are catching everything from fluke, black sea bass, stripper, porgy, blackfish (tautog).
