Welcome to Buffalo's premier boat club
As any Buffalonian knows, our summer recreation season can be long and blissful or woefully cut short. Our location is open May through October, depending on when the ice thaws, when the snow flies, and when our extensive waterways are safe to enjoy.
In the Buffalo region we are lucky to enjoy a waterfront city packed with local businesses, restaurants and parks accessible from the water. Take a day cruise through the historic locks or the Erie Canal, float down the Niagara River for a breathtaking and exclusive view of Canada and Niagara Falls, or anchor at an island, favorites being Grass and Strawberry, for a dip.
If you’re hungry, dock at any number of fantastic restaurants – notable nearby Dockside Bar and Grill and Remington Tavern and Seafood Exchange.
The Western New York area benefits from the largest freshwater fishing opportunity in the nation. Try your hand for Walleye, Salmon, Trout, Yellow Perch, Steelhead, Sunfish, Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass. Be sure to check out the Western New York Hot Spot Fishing Map and the DEC website for seasonal regulations.
Experienced members know that the best flat water is early in the morning in the Buffalo area. Head out early for a smooth cruise, or later in the day to hit some skiing and tubing waves.
Out-of-town boaters shouldn’t miss Buffalo’s inner harbor, with concerts, sporting events and seasonal activities taking place year-round.
