There’s nothing more patriotic than seeing a line of decorated boats on the water for the Fourth of July. Not to mention viewing the fireworks and celebration from the comfort of your boat makes for the perfect holiday outing.

This year, our members in or visiting Miami/Tampa are in for a treat. The choices for a fun Independence Day are better than ever. No matter what your speed, there are celebrations for you – especially by boat. Here is a list of some of the more popular places to see the rocket’s red glare – Peacock Park Fireworks in Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne Fourth of July Parade, America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park and City of Miami Beach Fourth of July Celebration.

Our Washington, D.C. members sizzle with excitement and expectation, as fireworks celebrations flourish in practically every neighborhood and community in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Of course, Washington, D.C., leads the charge with fireworks on the National Mall that can be viewed from a number of prime locations, including along the Potomac River on the Virginia side. You can also check out the Great American Festival at our National Harbor, The Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks at Annapolis City Dock along with a great display at Buddy Attick Lake Park.

Baltimore has never looked so stunning beneath the illuminated night sky. Members rave that there is no better place to celebrate than out on the water with Spirit! Baltimore’s Ports America, Chesapeake Fourth of July Celebration, Catonsville’s Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Extravaganza on Middle River are just a few of the great events the city has planned.
