They offer both daily rates and monthly rental options for long-term guests. Their guest rate ranges from $1.75-$2.25 per foot per night, plus electricity rates. For monthly rent, their costs begin at about $900 per month to upwards of $2000 or more, depending on the size of your vessel, not including additional fees. Keep in mind, you’ll also need to have insurance and registration documentation available upon reserving your spot.
Harbor Island West Marina
Another spot to consider is the Harbor Island West Marina. As you might expect, this is located at the west end of Harbor Island, giving you immediate access to the bay and located just minutes away from the open waters of the Pacific Ocean. They have a selection of 620 slips that can accommodate boats ranging in size from 21 to 100 feet. You’ll also find great amenities here, such as a full-service fuel dock, restaurant and deli, pool, jacuzzi, and both laundry and restroom facilities. For monthly rent, their rates range from $450 to $1000 or more, depending on the size of your boat and the amenities you choose to include. For daily guests, there is a three-night minimum, so this probably isn’t the option for shorter vacations. The guest rate is $2 per foot per night, regardless of the size of the vessel.
Intrepid Landing
If you are looking for a longer-term rental, consider docking at Intrepid Landing, located on Shelter Island. This is one of the newer docks in the area and offers great views of the San Diego skyline and is just 5 minutes away from San Diego Bay. You’ll also enjoy access to amenities such as laundry facilities, storage units, and newly remodeled bathrooms with showers. Depending on the size of your boat, month rates can run between $750 up to $1900, not including the electricity fees.
