Happy New Year! We hope you and your loved ones enjoyed the holidays. We’re so grateful to everyone who attended our holiday party and supported Operation Christmas Child. Thanks to your kindness, we sent off 91 boxes to children in need. What a wonderful way to end the year!

Take a look at our tentative social calendar for the year. Each month’s event is listed below! The calendar is also available on our website for easy access and to stay updated with the latest dates. If there’s an event you don’t want to miss, be sure to save the date. Formal invitations with detailed information, including time and location, will be sent out as each event approaches.

When you arrive at an event, look for the clipboard by the front door and sign in to earn points. The member with the most points at the end of the year will be named “Most Social Member” and receive a free month of dues! Extra points can be earned through games, the chili cook-off, and other event activities. Don’t forget to sign in every time!

Looking to get out on the water this winter? Reserving a boat is easy! Just send a text or call the dock phone at least 24 hours before you plan to go, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Spotlight

Jack has been a valued member of the Carefree team for two years, and his favorite part of the job is meeting all the incredible people who visit the club. He loves learning about what others are up to and enjoys connecting with them during their time on the water.

Jack’s top pick in the fleet? Aqua Office—a boat that holds a special place in his heart as the first one he ever drove! When asked about his favorite memory, Jack shares, “It was pouring rain, but working with JJ and Hudson to get everyone in safely was so much fun.”

Jack joined Carefree to work outside and push himself to be more comfortable around new people—a goal he’s certainly accomplishing! Outside of work, he loves playing sports and hanging out with friends.

Reflecting on his experience, Jack says, “I’m so grateful to work with such an amazing team. Everyone here has become my friend, and I can’t wait for next season!” If you see Jack at the dock, be sure to say hi!
