Get ready to rep your lake in style! Pre-order your exclusive Carefree Boat Club lake t-shirt now for just $20! Pre-orders are open until March 17th—don’t miss out! Secure yours today by filling out the order form here.
At our Tega Cay locations, all of your guests must park in the top lot. While guests don’t need a Carefree pass, they must park in that specific lot, as towing is being enforced. Members can only park in the designated Carefree Member spots with a Carefree pass. If you’re a member and don’t have a pass or the designated spots are full, please park in the top lot with your guests.
To keep our fleet in the best condition, pets are welcome on our pontoons but are no longer allowed on inboard boats. Pet hair can clog the bilge pump, causing it to fail and take on water, leading to downtime for repairs. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.
With this time of the year comes windy conditions—please boat carefully! Strong winds can create rough waters, making maneuvering more difficult. If winds reach 12-15 mph, we’ll need to temporarily suspend boating for safety until conditions improve.
March is your last chance to refer a friend or family member and earn a free month of dues! Starting next month, we’ll be offering a gas credit instead. Don’t miss out!
Employee Spotlight
Meet Van Jantzen, he is heading into his third summer with Carefree, Van has made the most of his time on the dock. “I love working outside during the summer,” he says, and there’s no better place to do that than on the water. His favorite boat in the fleet? Double Trouble, our double decker pontoon at Tega Cay Marina!
Some of Van’s best memories come at the end of a long day, watching the sunset after checking in the boats. He originally joined Carefree because it seemed like a great way to spend the summer—and he was right.
When he’s not on the dock, Van spends his time wakeboarding, waterskiing, and playing lacrosse. Be sure to say hi when you see him out on the water this season!
