Events At The Club

This past month we celebrated the Kick-Off to summer on Carolina Grace Yacht! We had a wonderful time, it was so great getting to see everyone and enjoy some delicious food. Here is a recap video of the day with our awesome members. 

Tomorrow night, June 2nd, we will be sponsoring the Carolina Show Ski Team event, they are a competitive, entertaining, family-oriented team that performs water ski shows throughout the summer! Come see us at Windjammer Beach Park in Tega Cay, SC, the show starts at 7pm.

Member Housekeeping

When making your boat reservation, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance if you require life vests and tubes or a wakeboard. We want to ensure everything is ready for you before you even step foot on the docks!

Did you know that you have the option to hire an experienced driver for your boat outings? That’s right! We understand that there are times when you’d prefer to sit back, relax, and fully enjoy the company of your loved ones without worrying about navigating the boat. That’s why we offer the convenience of providing an experienced staff member to take the helm on your behalf. This service is available to you at no additional cost but is on a first come, first serve basis. Please text or call the dock phone to inquire about this service!

A reminder that, our marina on Lake Norman, Kings Point Marina, has implemented a parking pass program for this upcoming season. The paved marina parking lot is for members only, including our Carefree Boat Club members.  Over the years, the marina has had a lot of non-members parking in the lot which makes it more difficult for their slip holders and our Carefree members to find parking during the busy season. We have the Carefree Parking Passes in the office. Per the marina’s policy, we are only allocated one pass per family. We are asking our members to stop by the Carefree office upstairs above the clubhouse and get their pass. However, the overflow grass lot in the back does not require a parking pass.

Calling all fishing enthusiasts and boating aficionados! We will be celebrating National Fishing and Boating Week from June 3rd to June 11th. During this week we will be posting pictures and videos to the facebook group and we would love for everyone to get in on the excitement!
