We have some very exciting news!  Next season we will be opening a new location at the beautiful Castaways Yacht Club in New Rochelle, NY.  This Yacht Club is conveniently located only minutes from Long Island Sound and will give you easy access to ports along the coast of Westchester County and Long Island!  This new location will open with four boats, with the opportunity to expand in the future.

If you are interested in changing your current home port to New Rochelle for the 2021 season please let us know by September 1st.  This will in no way affect your membership for the remainder of the current, 2020, season, but it will allow us to accurately assess how many 2021 membership pre-sales we can accept.

We are hoping to sell out the New Rochelle location prior to opening in the Spring, so we will begin taking deposits on memberships at this location starting September 15th.  If you have friends or family looking to join Carefree in 2021, who live or work in that area, feel free to put them in touch with us!

We are also adding two new boats to the fleet!  We are expecting delivery on a brand new 2020 BRIG Eagle 8 next week.  Many of you are already familiar with these boats!

We will also be introducing a new style of boat to the club and, if we find that it is a good fit, we plan to add more in the coming seasons.  Fisherpeople and leisure cruisers alike will love this sport cabin, lobster-style boat, made by Eastern, called the Islander 248.  We are expecting delivery of this boat on August 25th.  Check out some photos below!

We have also launched three short, concise training videos on our Youtube channel.  These videos cover the basics of operating the GPS software, Navionics.  You can find the videos RIGHT HERE.  We highly encourage all of our members to sign up for, and download this great app.  Not only does it work phenomenally well, but it will also provide you with some redundancy while boating if the GPS on the boat stops working for any reason.  The app is available on all platforms!
