‘Tis the Holiday Season, Boaters! We hope that everyone has had the chance to make the most of this warm weather for some boating adventures. Luckily, there are still more great boating days to look forward to this month!
Events At The Club
Thank you to all our members who stopped by our booth at the fall festivals this past month! We love getting to see you all and hear about your experiences with the club.
Stay tuned for an invitation to RSVP for our Holiday Party! It will be on December 10th from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Port City Club. We will continue our tradition of filling up boxes for Operation Christmas Child. If you would like to participate, please bring toys, school supplies, or personal care items for the children in need.
Member Housekeeping
Please be mindful of the low water levels and take extra precautions when boating. There are stumps and rocks in places you have not had to worry about before; drive slow, and don’t cut corners! Leaving a generous amount of room from buoys, docks, points, shoals, or navigational markers will help to keep you and the boats safe.
Instead of calling the office, you can now update your credit card details in ResNet! Log in to your account, go to the ‘Account Details’ section, and select ‘Billing’. After that, press ‘Add New’ and enter your card details.
We will begin winterizing our inboard boats this month. After November 30th, please make all your reservations by texting the dock phone directly. Since the winter months are slower, please try to give at least a 24-hour notice before you would like to go out.
Spotlight
Mason Coldwater has been an integral part of the Carefree team for about five years. His favorite aspect of working at Carefree is the chance to connect with both new and long-standing members, forming friendships and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic and enjoyable time! Mason’s decision to join Carefree stemmed from his intrigue for boats; his favorite from the fleet is the center console, Off The Hook. “The best part of working at Carefree is watching the sunsets and the Christmas parties; they are always fun!” Mason said.
Outside of work, Mason enjoys unwinding and spending quality time with his family. He emphasizes the club is a fun and ‘Carefree’ place with great people you’re sure to make lasting memories!
