Since Sebago Lake is one of Maine’s deepest lakes with a maximum depth of 316 feet, it’s a very popular fishing spot for lake trout. There are a plethora of coves, inlets, and underwater islands that make it possible to catch other fish as well, such as white and yellow perch and brook trout. Be sure to check out the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for all updated fishing regulations. The Sebago Lake area is also home to some great options for golfers. You can tee off at Point Sebago Golf Course and Frye Island Golf Club for a great day on the greens. Just minutes from the marina, Seacoast Adventure is the perfect spot for outdoor fun. They have a 100-foot Sky Swing, an 18-hole mini golf course, a playground, and go-karts for the adventure seekers in your family. If you’re wanting to take in the views of the lake but want a break from driving, check out the Songo River Queen. The replica of the Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers was built in 1982 and has two decks – an open upper-deck and a fully enclosed lower deck. This boat will take you on a relaxing trip around Sebago Lake and makes for a great day.
