About Sebago Lake
Goodhue Boat Company, Sebago was formerly operated as Panther Run Marina beginning in 1995. With a convenient location nestled in Jordan Bay, this premier marina is Maine’s only Cobalt dealer. Just minutes from Sebago Lake State Park Swimming Beach, there are countless lake life activities to enjoy. Aside from the beautiful beach, Sebago Lake State Park in the towns of Casco and Naples also has options for lakeside camping and picnic areas. Even closer to our marina is Tassel Top Beach in Raymond, ME which offers a swimming area, picnic tables, outdoor grills, changing rooms, and a snack shack. The town of Sebago also has a beach – Nason’s Beach and Campground is open for day users as well as campers, and also offers a general store which sells food, gift items, and more.
If you want to go on an adventure, you can head on over to Naples Seaplane Adventures for an aerial tour of the lake region. Since Sebago Lake is one of Maine’s deepest lakes with a maximum depth of 316 feet, it’s a very popular fishing spot for lake trout. There are a plethora of coves, inlets, and underwater islands that make it possible to catch other fish as well, such as white and yellow perch and brook trout. Be sure to check out the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife for all updated fishing regulations. The Sebago Lake area is also home to some great options for golfers. You can tee off at Point Sebago Golf Course and Frye Island Golf Club for a great day on the greens. Just minutes from the marina, Seacoast Adventure is the perfect spot for outdoor fun. They have a 100-foot Sky Swing, an 18-hole mini golf course, a playground, and go-karts for the adventure seekers in your family. If you’re wanting to take in the views of the lake but want a break from driving, check out the Songo River Queen. The replica of the Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers was built in 1982 and has two decks – an open upper-deck and a fully enclosed lower deck. This boat will take you on a relaxing trip around Sebago Lake and makes for a great day.
Sebago Lake is also a great area full of wonderful dining options. If you need a good cup of coffee and a great breakfast in the morning, look no further than Kelley’s Sebago Diner in Windham, Maine. They also serve up a great lunch. Deck House Tavern, also in Windham, is a great spot for dinner if you like tavern-style food. If you’re in the mood for an authentic Mexican food experience, stop by A La Mexicana in Raymond. Don’t forget dessert! Ice Cream Dugout in Windham or The Mosquito Ice Cream Shop in Raymond are both great spots to unwind after a day on the lake. If you want to spend some time shopping on the mainland, Sebago Lake has plenty of great options for you. Point Sebago General Store is perfect for gifts, apparel, toys, and home décor. Causeway Gifts in Naples is another great spot for unique, locally made finds as well as Maine souvenirs. Between the adventures, dining options, and endless shopping, you and your family will certainly have plenty to do when you’re not boating! Sebago Lake is also a popular lake for water sports, like skiing and wake surfing. Raymond and the surrounding towns near Sebago Lake have something for everyone, regardless of their age (or even if they’re furry and have four legs!). We can’t wait to get you out on the water for a great lake life experience!
