Meet the Team

Dana Geers, Dock Operations Manager
Dana hails from the state of Kentucky. Go CATS!!!! She grew up on the rivers, lakes and waterways of the bluegrass state. Growing up on the water has given Dana the passion to pursue a career in the boating industry. "Nothing is better than being on the water on a beautiful day!" She grew up tubing, water skiing, swimming and spending time with her family on the lakes and she has many fond memories of those times. Dana enjoys making those memories with her husband and 4 boys and is here to help assist you in doing the same for you and your family.

Carolyn Johnson, Office Manager
Carolyn has been a Cornelius resident for 10 years and lives with her two furry companions, Baby and Callie. She enjoys boating and spending time with her twin children and 3 grandchildren, who visit "Grammy's Lake" every summer for some fun on the water. Carolyn was a member of Carefree for 5 years before she joined the team. She loves the variety of boating experiences offered, from ladies' nights on a big pontoon to tubing trips with her grandkids. Carolyn is grateful to have a job she loves with great co-workers and the convenience of walking to work every day.

Regan Calvert, Marketing Manager
Regan was born and raised on Lake Wylie, where her love for boating and all things water-related began at a young age. As a wakeboarder and slalom skier, she also has a passion for snowboarding and spends time on the slopes whenever she can. After graduating from college with a degree in marketing, Regan returned to Lake Wylie to be close to her roots and the lake. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, being creative, and playing with her fur babies, Roxy and Mozi.

Sydney Ziemer, Dock Supervisor
Sydney was born in the recreational community of Tega cay on Lake Wylie. At just 7 days old, she enjoyed her first boat ride and was waterskiing at the age of 3. With a passion for boating and watersports, Sydney grew up performing weekly ski shows with the Carolina Show Ski Team and worked as a dedicated dockhand for Carefree Boat Club. While studying marketing and sales at Clemson, she launched a boat detailing business serving customers in the Carolina region. Realizing her love for the industry, she earned her Masters Captains license in order to explore the opportunities available to her. Sydney’s goal is to someday Captain a boat in the islands for her family to enjoy on vacation!
