Marc and Oana Graveline, Owners
Marc and Oana bought their first boat in 2005. They fell in love with the boating lifestyle but soon realized the cost of owning a boat was much more than expected. Researching their options, they learned about boat clubs and liked the idea so much that in 2010 they started the Lake Norman Carefree Boat Club. When not working on their business, the Gravelines keep busy with their dog, Baxter and visiting their children, Chris - Go Hokies and Madi - Go Dawgs!
Allan Church, Dock Manager
Allan grew up in Utah and fell in love with waterskiing at 10 years old. Unfortunately, there were only three months a year to enjoy it. In 1999 while living in Charlotte, Allan, and his wife Allison, bought their first boat and spent every weekend exploring local lakes. Loving the lake lifestyle, Churches settled in Tega Cay in 2001 along with their children Kennedy and Harrison.
Dana Geers, Dock Manager
Dana hails from the state of Kentucky. Go CATS!!!! She grew up on the rivers, lakes and waterways of the bluegrass state. Growing up on the water has given Dana the passion to pursue a career in the boating industry. "Nothing is better than being on the water on a beautiful day!" She grew up tubing, water skiing, swimming and spending time with her family on the lakes and she has many fond memories of those times. Dana enjoys making those memories with her husband and 4 boys and is here to help assist you in doing the same for you and your family.

Ryan enjoys interacting with existing members and handles all sales for the club, including new membership sales and boat sales.
Lisa Conant, Marketing Director
Meet Lisa, she has been a cherished part of the Carefree team for over 5 years. With a deep appreciation for the boating and lake lifestyle, she loves the sense of a mini vacation every time she sets foot on the water. She relocated from the west coast to North Carolina over two decades ago. They've raised two children, one a recent graduate of Carolina Gamecock and the other a junior at Clemson, which fuels her enthusiasm for college football. Beyond the realm of sports, Lisa finds joy in restoring old furniture, painting, reading, and even exploring new hobbies like pickleball!
Carolyn Johnson, Office Manager
Carolyn has been a Cornelius resident for 10 years and lives with her two furry companions, Baby and Callie. She enjoys boating and spending time with her twin children and 3 grandchildren, who visit "Grammy's Lake" every summer for some fun on the water. Carolyn was a member of Carefree for 5 years before she joined the team. She loves the variety of boating experiences offered, from ladies' nights on a big pontoon to tubing trips with her grandkids. Carolyn is grateful to have a job she loves with great co-workers and the convenience of walking to work every day.
