DOCK MASTER (YEAR ROUND OR SEASONAL)
Our ideal candidate for this job will have boating experience, great time management skills, excellent customer service, and be able to fix small boat issues.
Responsibilities:
- Training and Managing a staff of ~3-9
- Maintaining a dock and 3-10 boats
- Making schedules
- Making reservations and accurately tracking fuel
- Deep clean and detail each boat based on cleaning schedules
- Assist members with casting off and returning their vessels
- Check and respond to calls and texts regarding boat reservations
- Drive, maneuver, fuel, and properly dock boats
- Secure and care for our boats as if they were your own
Qualifications:
- Experience operating, docking, and maneuvering 20-30ft vessels
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to work at different locations
- Knowledge of general boating operation, how boats work, and maritime rules
- Meticulous attention to detail in keeping boats and equipment spotless and organized.
- Ability to work outside in mostly beautiful but occasionally foul weather
- Customer-Focused
- Mechanic skills (ideally)
- Maintenance skills
- Ability to train dock staff
- Must be a people person
- Prompt and responsible
- Computer skills: email, word, excel, etc.
- Attention to detail ( for boat service and cleanliness)
- Familiar with local waterways
- Full time work (Year Round or Seasonal)

DOCK STAFF (YEAR ROUND OR SEASONAL)
There are three basic functional areas for Dock Staff. Each of these areas has associated tasks for which they are responsible:
➢ Customer Service: Providing proactive service , Building relationships with members
➢ Boats : Cleaning and equipping boats, Maintaining an orderly dock
➢ Check-Out / Check-In using ResNet: Ensuring member safety, Accurately documenting fuel levels, Recording asset damage
Qualifications:
- Experience operating, docking, and maneuvering 20-30ft vessels (Can be taught to the right candidates)
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to work at different locations
- Knowledge of general boating operation, how boats work, and maritime rules
- Meticulous attention to detail in keeping boats and equipment spotless and organized.
- Ability to work outside in mostly beautiful but occasionally foul weather
- Must Be able to work weekends
- Valid Washington Driver's License
- 18 years or older
