Join us this June 3-4 for the Rockingham Open House!

Rockingham Marina on Boone Lake in Johnson City, Tennessee is holding an open house on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 to celebrate the start of the boating season and the opening of the newly-revamped Rockingham Marina Café.

The public is invited to the marina from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to enjoy free sweet tea, ice cream and popcorn. The Carefree Boat Club will also be offering free boat rides on one of their luxury pontoon boats.

Rockingham Marina’s new café menu has been completely reimagined by Chef Todd Dawn, formerly of the Troutdale Dining Room in Bristol, Tennessee. The new menu features lake-friendly sandwiches, salads, and sides, along with unique homemade ice creams and desserts. The café can also put together a “Picnic Pack” to take out on a boat for a day on the lake complete with snacks, sandwiches, sides, and drinks.

While Boone Lake is still below normal full pool level, Rockingham Marina is still completely accessible to all watercraft. This open house is a perfect opportunity to see what Boone Lake still has to offer despite ongoing TVA work on Boone Dam.
