Executive Assistant

Location: Commodore Bay Marina

About the Position We're on the lookout for an efficient, forward-thinking, and meticulous Executive Assistant to lend a hand directly to the proprietor of our diverse boating enterprise, including a marina, boat club, boat rental service, and boat dealership. This position plays a crucial part in facilitating seamless daily operations, managing correspondences, and keeping various business projects on track. The right fit for us would be someone who communicates effectively, thrives in a dynamic setting, and is equally adept at handling administrative tasks, orchestrating events, and meeting operational requirements during the bustling summer season. Principal Duties Administrative Assistance Efficiently manage the owner’s schedule, arranging meetings, site visits, and events across all business divisions. Screen and rank emails, phone calls, and correspondences. Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as necessary. Maintain systematic digital and physical filing systems. Operational Coordination Help in organizing boat club member communications, scheduling, and induction. Support marina operations by monitoring maintenance schedules, vendor services, and slip assignments. Assist in managing inventory and orders for the boat dealership and rental fleet supplies. Prepare contracts, agreements, and membership documentation. Customer & Member Relations Serve as a point of contact for VIP customers, members, and partners. Draft and send professional messages on behalf of the owner. Assist in organizing and implementing customer events, open houses, and promotional activities. Project & Event Management Coordinate special projects such as boat exhibitions, club member events, or marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure prompt updates on websites, social media, and promotional materials. Monitor deadlines and deliverables for ongoing projects. Financial & Record-Keeping Assist with invoice processing, expense reports, and basic bookkeeping support. Maintain accurate records of memberships, rentals, and dealership transactions. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role; experience in hospitality, marine, or recreational industries a plus. Skills: Superior organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools. Mechanic

Location: Commodore Bay Marina

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dependable Marine Mechanic to join our busy waterfront operation. Our business includes a full-service marina, a private boat club, a rental boat fleet, and a boat dealership. This role is vital in keeping our boats safe, reliable, and ready for customers, members, and sales delivery. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience with both inboard and outboard engines, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Repairs Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of boat systems, including outboard and inboard engines, electrical systems, steering, and fuel systems. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, water pump replacements, and tune-ups. Address mechanical issues for the boat club fleet, rental boats, and customer-owned vessels. Preventative Maintenance Conduct regular inspections and maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns during the boating season. Maintain records of service history for each boat in the fleet. Prepare new boats for delivery, including rigging, system checks, and safety equipment installation. Operational Support Assist with seasonal tasks such as spring commissioning and winterization. Haul, launch, and relocate boats as needed. Work closely with dock staff and management to ensure boats are operational before reservations. Customer Service Communicate professionally with boat owners, members, and renters regarding repairs and timelines. Provide technical advice to customers considering repairs, upgrades, or repowers. Qualifications Experience: 2+ years in marine mechanics, small engine repair, or related field. Skills: Proficient with marine engine diagnostics (Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or similar). Understanding of 12V electrical systems, hydraulics, and marine rigging. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications: Marine engine manufacturer certifications preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying conditions, and climb in/out of boats.
