Dust off your favorite Hawaiian shirt and get ready to kick off the 2026 boating season in style. We are thrilled to invite you to the Carefree Boat Club Season Kickoff Luau!
To keep our upholstery in excellent condition, please apply spray-on sunscreen before boarding or while on the rear swim platform. The chemicals in many sprays can cause permanent staining or “pink-out” on marine vinyl. We appreciate your help in keeping the fleet pristine for everyone’s enjoyment!
Due to current drought conditions, water levels are up to five feet lower than normal conditions. Areas that were safely navigable last season may now present hazards. Please exercise extreme caution (and reduced speeds) in shallower areas to avoid running aground. Remember that lower unit strikes are the most frequent cause of damage during low-water cycles.
This time of year brings windy conditions, so please boat with caution. Strong winds can create rough waters and make maneuvering more challenging. For safety, boating will be temporarily suspended if winds reach 12-15 mph until conditions improve. We monitor wind speeds using the Windy App at all our locations. You can download it from the App Store to stay informed!
