Charlotte  ⚓️  July 2025

It’s officially summer, and the heat is on! With high temperatures and long sunny days out on the water, it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated. Boating in the sun can dehydrate you quickly, especially when you’re active and surrounded by reflective water. Make sure to bring plenty of water, take breaks in the shade when possible, and avoid too much caffeine or alcohol while out on the lake. Staying safe starts with staying hydrated!

Member Housekeeping

Time to show off your best lake days—it’s photo contest time! Join our PhotoCircle and upload your favorite boating photos and videos from this summer for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Starting July 1st through July 31st!
The 4th of July is one of the busiest weekends on the lake, so please be extra cautious and prioritize safety while out on the lake. With the holiday coming up, parking at both Tega Cay and Kings Point will be strictly enforced. Be sure to display your parking passes and only park in designated areas to avoid any issues. Let’s keep things safe, smooth, and fun for everyone this holiday weekend!
Rafting of boats is not permitted at any time. Rafting is when you tie two or more boats together while on the water, typically at anchor or while drifting. This can cause damage to the boats and create safety risks for members and guests. To protect our members and maintain the integrity of our fleet, we require all boats to remain separate and properly anchored at a safe distance from one another.
We love hearing from our members! Whether it’s positive praise or constructive feedback in your surveys, your input helps us grow and improve every aspect of our operations. Our goal is to provide you with the best boating experience possible, and that means listening closely to what’s working and what could be improved. We’re also incredibly proud of our hardworking dock staff. While tips are never expected, they are always appreciated as a gesture of thanks for great service.
