Your Fleet
On bowriders, the back seats aren’t designed to be stepped on, even though it may seem convenient when boarding or moving around the boat. Putting weight on the seat cushions can cause unnecessary wear and tear and damage the upholstery. To keep the boat in great condition for everyone, always step on designated walkways, flooring, or non-slip surfaces when entering, exiting, or moving about the boat.
To keep our upholstery in excellent condition, please apply spray-on sunscreen before boarding or while on the rear swim platform. The chemicals in many sprays can cause permanent staining or “pink-out” on marine vinyl.
When anchoring, be mindful of where the rope runs. Letting it drape over the seat puts pressure and friction directly on the material, which can cause it to rip or wear through over time. Take a moment to route the rope on the floor of the boat, keeping it clear of the seating area.

Join us on Friday, July 3rd, at Kings Point Marina from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for an important talk with Captain Mike from TowBoat US on boating safely during the current low lake levels. With a high-traffic weekend ahead, this is a great opportunity to pick up tips on navigating the lake safely and avoiding common hazards. We hope to see you there!
To our Kings Point and Tega Cay boaters, a quick reminder on parking at both locations. At Kings Point, please ensure your parking pass is clearly displayed whenever your vehicle is on-site, and have your guests use the designated parking in the back lot. At Tega Cay, members may park in the marked Carefree Member spaces with a parking pass, while all guests should park in the top lot. If you’re a member without a pass or if member spaces are full, please park in the top lot with your guests. Towing is actively enforced at both locations, so we appreciate your help in keeping parking organized for everyone.

Due to current drought conditions, water levels are still lower than normal. Areas that were safely navigable last season may now present hazards. Please exercise extreme caution (and reduced speeds) in shallower areas to avoid running aground. Remember that lower unit strikes are the most frequent cause of damage during low-water cycles.
