Charlotte ⚓️ December 2025

POSTED: Jan 6, 2026

The holiday season is here, and we’re feeling extra thankful for our members and all the great memories we’ve shared this year. Thanks for letting us take care of your time on the lake. We wish you a month full of warmth, joy, and time spent with your loved ones!

Events

Join us for our Holiday Party on December 7th, 1- 4 PM at Lakehouse Wine Bar and Grill! Break out your ugly Christmas sweaters and come for an afternoon of live music, delicious food, and great company. This year, we’re having a photo booth to capture all the festive fun! We’ll also continue our tradition of supporting Operation Christmas Child. If you’d like to participate, please bring toys, school supplies, or personal care items to help fill boxes for children in need.

Please RSVP on the Evite. We are excited to celebrate the season with you!

Member Housekeeping

Starting today, December 1st, all reservations must be made by messaging the dock phone. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any spur-of-the-moment reservations at all locations. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep everything running smoothly this winter!
We’ve been hard at work prepping the fleet for next season. From deep cleaning and detailing to mechanical checks, maintenance, and protective wrapping, our team makes sure every boat is inspected from bow to stern because that’s what being a Carefree member is all about. We handle the work so you can enjoy the water!

Other News

If you find yourself with a little extra time this winter, it’s the perfect chance to complete your NC or SC Boater’s Safety Course.
You’ll need this certificate to book reciprocal reservations!

The online course takes about 4–8 hours, and you can pause and return anytime. It’s free unless you’d like to order a laminated card for your wallet.
