CAREFREE MERLOT | FORTUITY CELLARS BOTTLING

Emily and Lee Fergestrom were some of our first members, joining Carefree Seattle in 2016. They were a new couple with a penchant for saltwater exploration when they came up with the idea to start their own winery. They even hosted many of their first business meetings on our boats! Fast forward to present and Fortuity Cellars is a full fledged winery with several years of bottles under the belt, nestled in the sunny hills of Wapato, Washington outside of Yakima. We had the pleasure of collaborating with Fortuity Cellars on a private label wine exclusively for club members, the Carefree Merlot!

This beautifully bright wine expresses notes of bing cherry, black raspberry, baking spices and finishes with fresh tannins. We hope an unexpected bottle of wine will inspire you to kick off your shoes, savor the view and share a Carefree moment out on the water. Our Community Manager, Jessica, traveled to the winery to volunteer in their annual bottling event and to have the chance to grab the first Carefree wine bottle off the belt.
