Lake Simcoe and Lefroy Harbor Marina:
Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe is located at Lefroy Harbor marina just outside of Toronto, Canada. Marina amenities include access to the beach, a heated saltwater pool, restrooms, the Harbour House Grill and more. Lake Simcoe is known for being a very clean, pristine freshwater lake with a sandy bottom. Lake Simcoe is ideal for boating and recreation as there are very few channel marker ways. Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe is located in a truly ideal location. Nestled within what locals call “cottage country,” Carefree Boat Club is neighbor to many hiking and horseback riding trails, campgrounds, off-roading sites for ATVs, waterfront restaurants and even a zip line facility. The surrounding area hosts year-round festivals that cater to all ages.
Only 45 minutes away from the marina is downtown Toronto–Canada’s largest city–that is full of nightlife, arts and activities such as the Royal Museum of Toronto, Ripley’s Aquarium, Rogers Centre and The Direct Energy Science Center. Also, Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe is less than a 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls!
About the Owners:
Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe owner, Steve, has been building his business for over 15 years. Steve and wife Karin were also the proud owners of Carefree Boat Club Cape Coral and Carefree Boat Club Fort Myers, the first Carefree locations in southwest Florida. After great success in Florida, they collaborated with corporate owners to expand Carefree Boat Club into Canada. The Lake Simcoe club is the first of its kind in Canada, and Steve and Karin are proud to have broken new ground for the club internationally.
Prior to Carefree Boat Club, Steve worked as a mobile marine technician and also owned a boat charter company. Steve and Karin are the proud parents of 2, and enjoy spending their time on the water or anywhere outdoors. Karin is an advocate for women in boating, and is always eager to help others gain confidence and competence on the water.
