Why Boating Is the Best Springtime Activity in San Diego
Whale watching is a popular activity in San Diego, with minke and fin whales surfacing year round, and although there are places on the shore where it is possible that you might catch sight of one breaching, it is a heck of a lot easier to see them from the waters you are sharing with them. Gray whales are the most common species to see, migrating during the winter and early spring and blue whales are often seen from mid-June (the final weeks of spring) through September, and if you are wondering which of our Carefree Boat Club boats are best for whale watching, they are all wonderful, so there won’t be any worries about finding the right boat for the occasion!

There is a serenity that can be found on the other end of a fishing pole, and in the spring, the promise of a big catch can have you returning to your favorite fishing holes again and again.
