May 27-29 Chestertown Tea Party
This town-wide party commemorates the colonial resistance to British rule, and comes complete with re-enactments of a colonial tea party aboard the replica ship Sultana on Saturday, an “anything goes” raft race on Sunday and plenty of fun all weekend. Take a short boat ride across the bay to Chestertown and experience the reenactments and a day of excitement for the whole family to enjoy.
June 18 – Bands in the Sand
Kick off your shoes and dance the night away at this beach-themed fundraiser for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Sponsored by the Boatyard Bar & Grill, this party will feature live bands, drinks, food and an art auction. You won’t want to miss this event!
Mike’s Crab House
Mike’s Crab House brings you a mouth-watering waterfront dining experience on the banks of the beautiful South River. They proudly serve crabs in the finest Chesapeake Bay Tradition for your dining pleasure. Located right across from our Annapolis location, it is a must-stop for boaters and land lovers alike.
Ego Alley
Stroll along the Annapolis City Dock and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Annapolis waterfront is known to local boaters as “Ego Alley” because it is the weekend and evening scene of a steady parade of expensive yachts, cruisers and sailboats. This short, half-day cruise is an ideal place to dock for people watching, shopping and fine dining.
Thomas Point Light House
The Thomas Point Light is the most recognized lighthouse in Maryland. View this National Historic Landmark as you cruise the Chesapeake Bay. Located at the mouth of the South River (the river our club is located on) as a great photo op, fishing area and an all around educational opportunity!
Slalom Course
For those of you with an advantageous nature, visit the tournament ready slalom course for water-skiing on the South River. Permitted with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, this is used as a controlled ski area. Your exhilarating water sport fun starts now!
