Crazy Horse Marina has been serving Smith Mountain Lake since the early eighties. It's original name was Safe Harbour Marina and was part of Crazy Horse Campground which had been the original business on site in the seventies. We talk to so many people who have fond childhood memories growing up at Crazy Horse. As a result of some ownership changes the campground was removed and the marina fell into disrepair.

In 2013 the marina changed hands again, Since that time much of the marina has been transformed. New and exciting services have been added like Kayak and Stand-up Paddle Board rentals. We have gas available 24/7, and as always we carry non-ethanol marine formulated gas. We are authorized dealers of CWB, Connelly, Aquaglide, ZUP, Port Supply, Donovan Marine and Ellett Brothers. Come visit us in the ships store, I think you'll like what we have done with the place.

Crazy Horse Marina was voted the BEST Marina on Smith Mountain Lake by the readers of Laker Magazine! We strive to continue to be considered the best by attracting events such as the Bass Pro Shop's Big Bass Tour and the SML Wine Festival. Come out and join in on the excitement!
