Gull Lake is sandwiched between the northeast of Kalamazoo County and the south of Barry County very close to Richland, Michigan. It is a beautiful spring fed lake with gorgeous color, wonderful fishing, sandbar fun, and 18.5 miles of shoreline. People have been visiting Gull Lake for hundreds of years. The families of UpJohn, Glimore, Kellogg and other well-known names had family homes on this lake for generations. Walt Disney visited in Sept 1964 and rode on a steamboat around the lake. Famous sites around Gull Lake include Lover’s Lane, Midland Park, Cresent Beach, and Island Channel. Gull lake is known for its sail boating competitions. Olympic competitors would come and train on Gull Lake. Many businesses have enjoyed a long history on the shores as well like the Gull Lake Inn, the Gull Lake Country Club, Gull Lake Ministries, etc. Gull lake is over 5 miles long and a mile wide, has three islands and a max depth of 110 feet.

Our BAYSIDE at Gull Lake location features our extensive Pro-Shop and serves as the Hobie and Jackson Kayak Outfitters carrying all the latest products from the world-class leader in kayaks, paddleboards, and SUP’s. This location also offers a full-service fuel dock. In addition, our BAYSIDE store maintains over 75 wet-slips on Gull Lake. It also runs a boat rental operation to use a late-model pontoon. Additionally, we partner with Surfs UP, a team of instructors that teach wake ski and boating on multiple lakes. And NEW this year, we just launched CAREFREE Boat Club by Gull Lake Marine, an exclusive membership club to use various like new boats seven days a week.
