Events At The Club
We will have a booth at the Mid-Atlantic Boat Show from February 8th to 11th! Bring a friend, and we’ll welcome you at the entrance with free tickets to enjoy the event. The event will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center on Thursday and Friday from 11-8 pm, Saturday 9 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 11-5 pm!
Member Housekeeping
We’re thrilled to share that part of our team has undergone boat maintenance training to ensure our fleet operates seamlessly during the summer months. We plan to enhance our current processes, ensuring a more efficient operation and providing you with increased availability of boats!
Spotlight
If you’ve visited our Tega Cay location, there is a good chance you have seen or met our dockhand, Gabin! Although he joined us just this past summer, he describes it as “the best summer” because it allowed him to pursue his passion for being on the docks and surrounded by boats.
Choosing to work at Carefree was driven by his desire for a job on the water, and he found the ideal fit within our Carefree family. Outside of work, Gabin spends his time on his personal boat fishing or at the race track working on race cars. To no surprise, his favorite boats in our fleet are Blue Moon or Off The Hook, the center consoles perfect for fishing!
If you cross paths with Gabin on the docks, he’d be happy to share insights on fishing and any ‘hacks’ to enhance your fishing adventures!
